Entrance control

COMINFO offers many types of turnstiles and speed gates that can be used in high-traffic areas with varying levels of security risk. They are an important part of an access control system, as they facilitate the passage of visitors and prevent unauthorizedentry to protected areas without the need for operating staff.

Glass wings of EasyGate speed gate cabinets and the arms of the BAR and REXON turnstile series ensure controlled passage. Security is enhanced by advanced sensor technology. 

 

All entrance turnstiles in our range can be customized to meet your specific requirements–whether it's a one way-turnstile or a two way one. We can produce them with a finish to match the entrance area, brand them with your logo, or adjust the lighting to your company's colors.

Data collection system

Our portfolio includes several models of readers and terminals designed for access control, attendance monitoring, and ticket inspection.

This involves e.g. time attendance terminals with biometric technologies and ticket terminals ideal for stadiums, waterparks, or fitness center entrances. We also offer card readers and QR code readers for easy access control and management and smart locks for easy locker locking.

QTicket

The QTicket is a smart ticketing terminal built for high-traffic leisure venues. It combines multiple identification technologies with a sun-readable display and robust offline capability, delivering fast, reliable ticket verification.

Designed to handle the demands of busy public venues, it validates QR codes, contactless cards, RFID wristbands, and biometric face recognition. All through a single compact device.

  • QR code: 1D and 2D barcode tickets, mobile tickets, and Print@Home tickets on A4 paper
  • Contactless card: RFID at 13,56 MHz (Mifare Classic, DESFire, Ultralight; ISO 14443A/B, ISO 15693) and 125 kHz (HID, EM 4102, HITAG1/2)
  • RFID wristband: same frequency support as contactless cards
  • Face recognition: biometric identification for frictionless, document-free entry

Operation

  • Ticket validation: QTicket reads all major ticket formats – printed barcodes, mobile QR codes, RFID credentials, and biometric data – within a single scan. The 7″ sun-readable display shows clear directional graphics so visitors always know what to do, reducing queue formation at entry points.
  • Offline ticket verification: Network outages do not stop operations. QTicket switches to offline mode automatically and continues validating credentials against its internal database of up to 160,000 users. Once connectivity returns, all records synchronise without data loss.
  • Turnstile and speed gate control: QTicket integrates directly with COMINFO turnstiles and speed gates via bracket mounting. It supports both one-way and bi-directional passage modes, allowing a single terminal to manage a full lane.

Fast entry that keeps queues moving

At high-capacity venues, entry speed determines visitor satisfaction. QTicket delivers fast verification across all supported credential types, from printed paper tickets to face recognition, without requiring staff to check each admission manually.

The 360-degree RGB signal light gives immediate visual feedback to both the visitor and nearby staff, keeping the flow of people moving.

The IP55-rated housing withstands outdoor conditions and splash exposure, making QTicket equally suited for outdoor and indoor entrances. At just 149 × 296 mm, the terminal fits any turnstile or gate bracket without modifying existing infrastructure.

Seamless integration with your access control system

QTicket connects to existing ticketing and access control systems through the HTTPS WebAPI protocol. This open integration layer means venues do not need to replace their current ticketing platform. QTicket acts as the physical validation layer that connects to whatever backend the operator already runs.

The terminal supports both online and offline modes, making it a resilient choice for venues where network reliability cannot always be guaranteed.
