The OverGate is a motorized, bi-directional retail gate built for shop entrances, supermarkets, and leisure facilities. Robust, intelligent, and available in multiple arm configurations, it combines reliable access control with active fraud detection and automatic alarm response.
The OverGate is a retail security gate designed for high-traffic commercial environments. Its motorized bi-directional drive permits authorized passage while detecting fraudulent entries and responding to intrusion attempts automatically. Available in two variants (Panel Gate and Tubular Gate) the OverGate adapts to any entrance layout without compromising on security or aesthetics.
If the arm is powered and closed, it can be forced open with a push. The alarm signal activates immediately and the arm automatically returns to its closed position once the force is released.
In the event of a power failure, the arm moves freely. When power returns, if the arm has moved from its closed position, it automatically returns to closed position.
If the arm makes accidental contact with a person or object, the safety system immediately stops the motor, preventing injury.

The OverGate raises the bar for retail security gate installations. Unlike passive barriers, it detects unauthorized passage attempts in real time. When the system identifies fraudulent activity (such as tailgating or forced entry) it triggers an alarm and automatically returns the arm to the closed position. This active response discourages opportunistic theft and gives security teams immediate visibility of access violations.
The OverGate comes in two configurations. The Panel Gate uses a solid arm panel for a strong visual deterrent. The Tubular Gate uses a tubular arm for a lighter look that suits modern retail interiors. Both share the same motorized platform and the same wide range of arm options making the OverGate a true security gate for retail store environments of every size and style.
Every OverGate supports photocell and radar detection, tandem configurations for back lanes and wide checkouts, a transit counter for customer flow data, voice alarm, and remote control options. Single, tandem, and tandem double configurations make the OverGate scalable from small boutiques to large supermarkets.
